Letter from the General Manager:

Wissler Motors has been part of the Mount Joy/Lancaster County community since 1965.  I grew up in Mount Joy and am now raising my family here.  It is such a great community and has a tremendous amount to offer families and businesses alike.

Throughout the years Wissler Motors has had the opportunity to give back to our community.  We not only assist financially, but have tried to support local organizations in other ways.  For instance, Wissler will place community and non-profit events on our digital sign (see info on requests).  We also assist the Ronald McDonald House by being a recycling collection center for magazine and soda tabs.

I am very proud to have supported these organizations throughout the years.

St. Mark's United Methodist Church runs Mount Joy's National Day of Prayer Breakfast.  My dad and I have enjoyed attending every year since it began.

This coalition was formed with the initial goal of finding a cure for breast cancer.  Today they are "a source of action and information for Pennsylvania women and their families."  PA Breast Cancer Coalition also has a tremendous facebook page.  Please make sure you check it out and support them!  ALSO CHECK OUT OUR PINK PLATE CAP PROGRAM!  Every time you get an oil change at Wissler Motors, we will donate to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition!

REYS serves the youth and families of our community by providing spiritual direction, academic assistance, and social support to children and teenagers through their after-school programming and evening activities.  Check out REYS facebook page.

The Ronald McDonald House® keeps children and families together by providing temporary housing, at no charge, to out-of-town families of seriously ill children who are being treated at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.  This is a very impressive organization.  If given the opportunity, one should take a tour of the "House" in Hershey and see how you can volunteer!  Keep up to date with their Facebook page.
